The Ask: Colorado's Crested Butte and Gunnison Valley boast 2,000,000+ acres of public land and one of the top-ranked trail systems in the United States. Gunnison Crested Butte—the region's tourism, stewardship and economic development arm—asked Buttery to help build on its reputation as an exceptional mountain destination. And, they wanted to lean heavily on the abundance of high-quality trails as a brand differentiator.
