The Opportunity: While researching for a related project, we stumbled onto a gold mine of untold stories from the earliest days of mountain biking. Those conversations with mountain biking’s unlikely pioneers inspired us to produce a documentary short film on the sport’s outlaw origins in Crested Butte, Colorado.

The Result: As of January 2022, “Born From Junk” has been selected and shown by 15 film festivals around the world, including Mountainfilm, BANFF, Kendal Mountain Film Festival, Wild & Scenic, and the Vancouver International Mountain Film Festival. Watch the full film.
